Christmas for our Veterans
The Claremore Veterans Facility currently houses 158 men and one woman. However, they can accommodate up to 300 veterans. Their numbers frequently change. All residents are provided with essential toiletries. However, they are all unscented. Whenever they received scented items, they are used quickly. Also, the men appreciate multi-bladed razors for a cleaner shave.
If you wish to donate any of the items listed, please, call me at 918-333-9439 or email or leave the items in the box at the Scout Service Center in Bartlesville.
Your items are needed by December 10th so the items can be delivered to Claremore to be packaged in decorative gift bags for the veterans.
Ask your unit leader if shopping for these items will count for service hours for rank advancement.
